PROMOTION
$199 New Patient Offer
A thorough check-up, professional clean and x-rays — all for no more than $199. If you have private health insurance, we'll claim from your fund on the spot, and whatever your fund covers comes straight off the price. No surprises, no judgement, just a fresh start for your smile.
What's Included
Our $199 New Patient Offer gives you everything you need to get a clear picture of your dental health. The appointment includes a comprehensive dental examination with your dentist, a professional clean with one of our qualified dental hygienists, and any x-rays needed to see what's happening beneath the surface. You'll leave with a complete understanding of where things stand and a personalised plan for what comes next.
How Your Appointment Works
You'll see two members of our clinical team during your visit. That's two sets of eyes on your dental health. Your dentist will carry out a thorough examination, checking your teeth, gums, jaw and soft tissues, and reviewing your x-rays. Then our hygienists, Casey or Michelle, will take care of your professional clean using EMS Airflow technology. Unlike traditional scaling, Airflow uses a combination of warm water, air and fine powder to gently remove plaque, tartar and surface stains. It's more comfortable, more thorough, and most patients tell us it's a completely different experience to what they were expecting.
We know that for a lot of people, walking through the door is the hardest part. Maybe it's been a while since your last visit. A few years, maybe longer. Maybe things don't look or feel the way you'd like them to, and you're worried about what we'll say. We want you to know: it doesn't matter how long it's been, and it doesn't matter what it looks like. We're not here to lecture you or make you feel bad. We're here to help you get your dental health back on track, at whatever pace feels right for you. You'll never be judged at Grange Road Dental, only welcomed.
Clear, Fixed Pricing. No Surprises.
We believe you should know exactly what you'll pay before you sit in the chair. If you have private health insurance with dental extras, we'll claim directly from your fund on the spot, and in most cases you'll have no out-of-pocket cost at all. If your fund happens to cover more than $199, we'll claim the full amount (it doesn't cost you anything extra). If your fund covers less than $199, or if you don't have private health, you simply pay $199. Either way, the price is fixed. No hidden fees, no unexpected extras, no bill shock.
Your dentist will give you honest, straightforward information about your dental health, but there's absolutely no pressure to proceed with any additional treatment. This appointment is about understanding where you're at and giving you the information you need to make your own decisions, in your own time. Want to know more about what to expect at a check-up and clean? We've put together a guide so you can feel prepared before you arrive.

PATIENT EXPERIENCES
We value the trust our patients place in our team. Here's a selection of feedback from people we care for in Ipswich.
What's included in the $199 new patient offer?
The offer includes a comprehensive dental examination with the dentist, a professional clean with our dental hygienist using EMS Airflow technology, and any x-rays clinically required. You'll also receive a personalised treatment plan if any further care is recommended.
How does the pricing work with private health insurance?
If you have private health insurance with dental extras, we'll process your claim on the spot using HICAPS. Whatever your fund covers comes straight off the price. If your fund covers the full cost, you pay nothing out of pocket. If your fund covers less than $199, you just pay the difference. If you don't have private health insurance, you pay the flat rate of $199. Either way, you'll never pay more than $199 for this appointment.
What if my health fund pays more than $199?
We'll claim the full amount from your fund. Since it doesn't cost you anything extra (your fund is paying, not you), we simply claim what your policy allows. You still pay nothing out of pocket.
I haven't been to a dentist in years. Is that okay?
Absolutely. Many of our patients haven't visited a dentist in years, and some in over a decade. You're not alone, and you won't be judged. Our team is genuinely warm and understanding. We care about helping you move forward, not about what happened in the past. Walking through the door is the biggest step, and we'll take it from there together.
How long does the appointment take?
You should allow approximately 60 minutes for your new patient appointment. This gives us enough time to complete your examination, x-rays and professional clean without rushing, and to have a proper conversation about your dental health.
What is EMS Airflow?
EMS Airflow is an advanced cleaning system used by our dental hygienists. Instead of traditional metal scaling instruments, it uses a gentle combination of warm water, air and fine powder to remove plaque, tartar and surface stains. Most patients find it significantly more comfortable than a traditional clean, and it reaches areas that are difficult to clean with conventional methods.
Do I need to bring anything to my appointment?
Please bring your private health insurance card if you have one (so we can process your claim on the spot), a form of photo ID, and any relevant medical history or medication list. If you've had recent dental x-rays taken elsewhere, it can be helpful to bring those along too.
Will I be pressured into additional treatment?
Never. We'll give you clear, honest information about what we find during your examination, but the decision about any further treatment is always yours. There's no pressure, no upselling, and no rush. Many patients use this first appointment simply to understand where they stand, and that's perfectly fine.
